Lucas and I hiked out to this glacier. Look at the blue ice amongst the white snow and brown/gray rocks.

I don't know if it was because I had been hiking and trying to keep up with Lucas, I was actually very warm.  Keep in mind that he is half my age. lol.

Can you see how God doesn't skimp on beauty?

Alaska's flora is characterized by resilient wildflowers and hardy trees that thrive in short, intense growing seasons.

Lucas introduced me to the flower called Fireweed (Chamerion angustifolium).  It is Lauren's favorite flower, and makes wonderful jelly.

The mountain peaks belong to Him. The sea is His, for he made it...
