An overwhelming adventure

Mexico was an incredible whirlwind for us – an overwhelming tapestry of vibrant sights, lively sounds, and fascinating people. Surprisingly, crossing the border was quite easy. Navigating the bustling streets, however, was another matter entirely! Everywhere you looked, vendors called out, offering everything from pharmaceuticals and dental surgeries to seeing their doctors. The streets were lined with fantastic finds: purses, blankets, and countless metal and resin figurines, all at great prices. But what truly stood out were the explosion of bright colors – it was absolutely fantastic! We hope this page captures some of that excitement for you.

A riot of color and incredible finds

Stepping into the heart of Mexico, we were immediately enveloped in a kaleidoscope of color. Every street, every corner, offered a new visual feast. The local vendors were passionate about their wares, showcasing an endless array of handcrafted items. From beautifully embroidered blankets to intricate metalwork and whimsical resin figurines, there was something unique to discover at every turn. The prices were fantastic, making it hard to resist bringing home a piece of this vibrant culture.

Lunch with a twist and a lively beat

One of our most memorable moments was lunch at an outdoor restaurant. They served American-style food, but with that undeniable, delicious Mexican twist. The centerpiece was a charming beer shack, crafted from wooden logs with a palm leaf roof, and a lively band played infectious tunes nearby. The waiters were incredibly friendly and attentive. As we waited for our meal, various vendors approached our table, good-naturedly trying to sell us a variety of items, adding to the unique atmosphere.
